Hormone-Refractory Prostate Cancer Association, Inc., is not affiliated with any other group or organization. For brevity, we use HRPCa Association, Inc. to stand for the full name of Hormone-Refractory Prostate Cancer Association, Inc.

 

The corporation is registered in Ohio, USA, and has been granted tax exempt status in Ohio.  All expenses are supported by donations from individuals.
 

The HRPCa Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity.  U.S.A. Tax ID: 20-1714489.


HRPCa Association, Inc., accepts no advertising nor is any product or service listed for any compensation, whether cash, service, favor or promise.

Neither HRPCa Association, Inc. nor anyone associated with HRPCa Association, Inc. receives any compensation from any company for providing information about their company and/or products. Nor is any commission provided for the linking to other sites or the sale of products listed at HRPCa Association, Inc. (via HRPCa.org).

Officers and Members of the Association

Current officers of the Association are President - Bruce Laumeister;  Vice-Presidents - Martin Magid, Jan Manarite and James Lanpher; and Secretary /Treasurer/Acting Webmaster - Joan MacKenzie (widow of Howard Hansen).  Ludwick Papaurelis is an Advisor and Judy Thurman is VP Emeritus. There are 104 members of the HRPCa E-mail Support Group. 

Past President, Howard Hansen, lost his 17 year struggle to combat prostate cancer in October, 2010.  He was a cofounder of the group in 2001 and the driving force behind the organization, online support list and website for over five years.

Dedication

We, the survivors, would like to dedicate this website in memory of our fallen comrades who have helped us in fighting this disease and whom we  miss very much. Dedicated to Jim Wolf, Bob Cummins, Bill Aishman, Bob Benson, Howard Hansen and the 33,000 other men who die of hormone refractory prostate cancer every year.
